"i carry your heart"  Necklace. A gift of love! 

Unique, custom-created; a one-of-a kind way to show your love!

Inspired by the poem by e.e. cummings, I made the first necklace on the day of my grandson's birth, February 22, 2011. He was a month unexpected, and there'd been a snowstorm the night before. It was Tuesday, and time for  my silversmithing class in Canton. I was driving down from a friends' place in Cleveland, and determined to make something special for my daughter Cecelia, to celebrate the birth of John, along with Emily, (her daughter, my granddaughter).

The idea of her heart carrying the hearts of her loved ones came from my favorite poem.

I got to class, which  had been cancelled, but the wonderful people at VRock let me use the workshop!!
